Following the success of last years’ Time for 2s conferences, TTS Group Ltd are holding a series of “Narrowing the Gap” Conferences. TTS would like to support practitioners to improve learning outcomes for every child by providing an exciting day of Early Years CPD – with extra sparkle of course!
With award winning inspirational speakers already confirmed, attendees will be guided through valuable opportunities to support and improve learning outcomes for the disadvantaged children in their care. TTS aim to support to practitioners in providing children with the appropriate provision for their individual needs.
The events are to be held throughout the year in Manchester, Newcastle, the Midlands and London and are set to be a real treat for all who attend. Costing £110 per delegate the day will include world class speakers, an exclusive TTS goodie bag, plus a £50 voucher to spend on TTS resources.
The itinerary for the day includes two key note speakers and 5 different engaging workshops to choose from. Key note speaker Helen Moylett’s “Mind the Gap!” session will be focusing on supporting all children and families to have high aspirations and to narrow the achievement gap. Alice Sharp’s session “Invitations to Play” will cover how to encourage, support and allow an individual learning journey for each child, regardless of social background, while ensuring all are engaged in meaningful opportunities and that child development is considered?
Workshops will include, Empowering Parents – Alice Sharp; Engaging Environments – Marie Richardson; Foundations of Mathematics – Judith Stevens; Observing Children’s learning: How do we know children have made progress? – Di Chilvers; Communication: Speaking, Listening and Technology! – Carol Allen.
The feedback from last years’ Time for 2s conferences was very positive, one delegate commented “The conference was EXCELLENT! and well organised most all value for money, the speakers were great delivery at a good pace, I was left feeling inspired to share with work colleagues which I did the same day. My only regret is that I should of closed the nursery and used the conference as an INSET day for my entire team which would of been fantastic.”
