World Autism Acceptance Week – 28th March - 3rd April 2022

  • World Autism Acceptance Week – 28th March - 3rd April 2022

Please join us and help create a society that works for the 160,000 autistic school children in the UK.

One in 100 children are autistic and you most likely have autistic children in your Early Years setting.

By taking part in World Autism Acceptance Week from 28th March to 3rd April 2022, you can help your young ones and colleagues to learn about autism and how to support your autistic students.

Sign up to our free education newsletter and you’ll be able to download free learning resources, suitable for Early Years.

The resources are based on a poem by a young autistic boy and have accompanying activities with listening cards.

They will help your little ones understand that we are all different and it is those differences that make us unique.

They tie in with curriculum objectives from the Early Years Foundation Stage:

  • People and communities: know about similarities and differences between themselves and others
  • Communication and language development: speak and listen to develop confidence and skills in expressing themselves
  • Personal, social and emotional development: develop a positive sense of themselves and others

We also have primary and secondary school resources.
