The Early Years Alliance has carried out a survey to assess the impact of early years funding on SEND provision. “This is an area that has been overlooked for far too long,” said chief executive, Neil Leitch. The survey’s ‘Five Big Questions’ tackle topics such as which factors are most important in enabling children to live happy adult lives, the nature versus nurture debate, and which period of childhood development is most important in terms of future health and happiness. Early years organisations have welcomed the launch. The survey closes on 21 February.
