Free Character Education Resources The Jubilee Centre has developed a series of high quality character education resources for primary and secondary teachers - all freely downloadable from www.jubileecentre. ac.uk . Developed by experts in the field, and in collaboration with teachers, the resources have been rigorously trialled and evaluated to ensure they meet the demands and needs of schools. From bespoke individual lessons, to full Programmes of Study, the range of materials on offer can be used to teach character as a discrete subject or cross-curricular in all schools. The Jubilee Centre’s Character Curriculum , with lesson plans, PowerPoints and printable resources, explores topics that are both statutory and non-statutory for PSHE, Citizenship and the new Health and Relationships Education in the UK, through a character lens. The Jubilee Centre offers a free online CPD programme, Leading Character Education in Schools, which equips teachers with the knowledge and practical tools to evaluate and enhance their school’s character education provision. The programme provides insights into the character education journeys of eight UK schools, enabling a range of different approaches and practices to be viewed first-hand.
